Surprises
So many surprises today.
firstly, go school to prepare for the presentation finals
then got 1 adss alumni come in and say the playfield ramp not correct height and the ping pong box wrong dimensions. Actually, he was right. luckily, they changed the ping pong box dimension, which didnt affect my robot much. but the ramp surely did. aloy made a ramp out of mounting board. amazingly, Optimus cant cross it :O ! the only ones that can cross are the 2 robots by yi rong... now jia ler thinking to rebuild Optimus' base.
next, we go to science center at 1:30, for the presentation finals.
we go to registration counter and then.. to our horror... TioMark was not in for mechanical design.. it was in for programming -.-
Jia Ler was shocked. Yong Xing jaw opened. i was like WTF.
Luckily, we finished the video while waiting for the presentation and did up the programs with SUB VIs and Sub-Routines and containers.
On the whole, we did quite well in my opinion.
The judges gave us more time to watch our video.
Ming Jie stated that the judges asked him to skip some of the slides(saying "we already know that") , which the judges did not say to us, and there were even teams in front of us.
Although we did stutter, we did a good presentation on the whole (:
Lastly, the best one of them all.
I came home and guess what i saw on my table?
A brand new Razer Carcharias Gaming Headset! :O
always wanted 1 of those...
clarity of this thing is VERY GOOD
and best of all, this thing can filter all the unneccesary noises when i am on the ventrilo!
